It's a good thing the creators of One Tree Hill grabbed Bryan Greenberg for the role of Jake Jagielski, 'cause
this guy's career is about to skyrocket to new heights. Currently, Bryan has one the sexiest OTH roles, that of playing
a dude with some serious crooning abilities and a secret at home that's guaranteed to make all Ravens cheerleaders melt. Even
better, this Omaha, Nebraska native hit the big screen this month in the critically acclaimed film The Perfect Score.
So how is he managing to keep both feet firmly planted? "I grew up in the Midwest. I don't think I'm a stereotype, but
I do think I'm pretty grounded. Unlike some cats in L.A., I'm not really hung up on my image and all that stuff. Nobody knows
who I am and I like it that way." Find out more, as we give the dude a chance to explain himself.
The thing about Jake that I like best is: "He is so random and cryptic. He's sort of like the Buddha of basketball.
He doesn't say much, but when he speaks, what he says is important."
Three's A Charm: "I feel pretty darn lucky to be on One Tree Hill. I get to do the three things I love most
in the world, which are act, play basketball and play guitar."
Pulling Strings: "So far, one of the scenes I liked was during the open mic night. That's actually me playing the
guitar for real. For the show, I do kind of a folky style, but in real life I try not to limit myself to one genre. I'm a
big fan of The Beatles, Elliott Smith and Radiohead."
Deep Thoughts: "I don't think I'm Mr. Buddha man. I think I have profound things to say sometimes, but most of the
time, they are just stupid. I'm not as deep as Jake. He has a lot of things brewing under the surface. I mean I have secrets,
we all have secrets, but I don't have a baby... that I know of!"
The Perfect Score: "I think right now they are flirting with the idea of pairing Jake with Peyton. She's a cool
character. I wouldn't be against dating someone like Peyton. She's got that whole brooding thing going on. It's the kind of
thing that makes you want to get in there and save her."
