Since joining One Tree Hill as Haley, Lucas Scott's BFF (best friend forever), it is safe to say Bethany Joy Lenz is topping the list of most enviable girls on the planet. Of course, it's not going to her head or anything. Joy, as she's known to friends, blames her level-headed approach to all things Hollywood (including her thisclose relationship with The Chad, on her totally together family back in Dallas, Texas. "I don't party. I'm a total homebody. I like hanging out with my cat and I've actually been known to stay home and knit."

My character: "Totally reminds me of me in high school. I was insecure back then. I would try and overcompensate by being loud and boisterous. You know, I was that person who would always talk way too fast because I was convinced nobody was listening."

I fell in love with Chad, as a friend, of course, because: "He has a really great heart. He's got that manly, protective heart, but he's also a thinker. He goes out of his way to make people feel good."

My dream for this season: "That they allow Haley to play the piano, maybe even in Karen's café! I also wouldn't mind if Lucas and Haley got together, but right now, she's convinced that would never, ever happen! He is the quintessential broody artist type that every girl dreams of, and I don't think Haley thinks she deserves someone like that."

Joining One Tree Hill has been: "Like summer camp, only it's really cold in Wilmington, North Carolina! I've never lived in a small town, but I always pictured myself in a small house, drinking lemonade on my porch swing. Now I have the porch!"

What sets me apart from other actresses is: "I swear I am the only actress around with fake brown hair and natural blond roots! Up until now, I've always played the blond ingenue part on The WB. In real life, Hilarie [Burton] and I have the same hair, blond and curly."
